SJR of CICEE began to slip in 2014. The reason may be too long publishing cycle and outflow of excellent papers, which resulted the descendance of the overall Chinese papers academic level. Therefore, the editorial office has taken active measures to shorten the publishing cycle and strictly control the academic quality of papers since year 2016. The effect of the measures has not appeared obviously, but the SJR in 2017 has recovered a bit.
