The compound influence factor of CICEE compared with that of similar Chinese journals in the single journal influence statistics of CNKI indicates that CICEE occupies an important position in the academic field of Chinese internal combustion engine industry. The effect of measures of adding the number of review experts in ICE industry and shortening the publishing cycle in year 2016 has not appeared. However, we can believe that the journal influence of CICEE will be improved gradually.
