Prof. HUANG Zhen, academician of the CAE , former vice president of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Current Chair Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Dean of the School of Smart Energy Innovation, and Dean of the Institute of Carbon Neutrality Development.
Mainly engaged in research on new energy power, renewable fuel preparation and combustion, carbon capture and utilization, energy strategy and policy. He won one second prize of the the State Technological Innovation Award, one second prize of the the State Natural Science Award, three first prizes of provincial and ministerial science and technology awards, two second prizes of national teaching achievement awards, the National Innovation Prize, the International Clean Fuel Achievement Award, etc. In 2019, he was awarded the International Combustion Society Fellow. His main academic part-time jobs include being a member of the National Carbon Neutrality Technology Expert Committee and the editor in chief of Frontiers in Energy, the a journal of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
