Abstract:Based on the calculation principle of COPERT model and MOVES model, the evaporative emission factor was refined by using vehicle characteristics, climate, fuel and other parameters. Evaporative emission factor databases of four different evaporative modes, i.e. hot soak emission, running loses and refueling loses were established. In addition, evaporating tests were carried out on vehicles meeting China Ⅲ, China Ⅳ, China Ⅴ and China Ⅵ emission standard. It can be found that the general trend of change is consistent with the calculation results of the model, and the data are in good agreement. With the emission factor database, combined with the total amount of gasoline vehicles and travel activities in each province, it was calculated that the total amount of volatile organic compounds emission of gasoline vehicles in 2020 was about 514 200 tons. In the total evaporative emission, refueling loses was the biggest contributor, contributing to 37.4% of the total emission.
