Abstract:According to the simulation analysis of dynamic model, the occurrence mechanism of camshaft fracture fault was revealed, and the characteristic signal of fault was analyzed by vibration data mining. Fault monitoring and early warning technology for camshaft fracture of a diesel engine based on model and data drive was developed. Through the actual engineering case, the correctness of the research conclusion was revealed. The results show that there were weak positions near the first shoulder of the camshaft and the second, fourth and sixth cylinder heads of the diesel engine. The camshaft tended to break at these positions under the condition of full power and high speed. Before the fracture failure of camshaft occurred, the diesel engine timing was abnormal, and the vibration acceleration signal located in the front cover was obviously larger in the axial direction than in the radial direction. The vibration acceleration of the cylinder head near the fault was significantly greater than that of other positions.
