Abstract:In order to effectively suppress the pressure fluctuation generated at the inlet of the injector, a new damping filter was used to carry out an experimental study on the pressure fluctuation control effect. The filtering effects on high-pressure tubing with longer length and smaller diameter under different vessel volumes, rail pressures and injection strategies were researched. Results indicate that the filter can significantly decrease the amplitude of pressure fluctuation under the single injection condition. Under the multiple injection control strategy, when the volume of filter chamber is 1 720 mm3, the deviation of the main injection quantity is 55.0%~67.9% less than that when the volume of filter chamber is 0 mm3 in the pre-main injection mode. When the volume of filter chamber is 1 720 mm3, the deviation of the post injection quantity is 80.8%~82.5% less than that when the volume of filter chamber is 0 mm3 in main-post injection mode, accordingly. In the pre-main injection mode, when the volume of the filter chamber is 1 720 mm3, the fluctuation amplitude of the main injection quantity is only 0.2 mg, 0.4 mg and 0.3 mg higher than that of the main injection quantity when the volume of the filter chamber is 28 000 mm3. In the main-post injection mode, when the volume of the filter chamber is 1 720 mm3, the fluctuation amplitude of the post injection quantity is only 0.3 mg, 0.4 mg and 0.7 mg higher than that of the post injection quantity when the volume of the filter chamber is 28 000 mm3. |
