Abstract:To reduce the fuel consumption of a 48 V mild hybrid vehicle further, the operating conditions of the whole vehicle were analyzed, and the vehicle economical simulation model of the 48 V hybrid system was built. And the correlation research of simulation and test were carried out by combining software simulation and bench test. Based on the high accuracy correlation model, the factors contributing to fuel saving, such as the optimization of the operating point, the torque converter lock-up clutch strategy and the brake recovery strategy were analyzed. And the optimization scheme was verified on the real vehicle. Results showed that the fuel economy improved significantly,and the comprehensive fuel consumption of the optimized 48 V vehicle decreased by about 12% under the new European driving cycle(NEDC) condition.
