Abstract:Based on a diesel engine lubrication system with post-pump releasing pressure regulation through oil signal feedback in the main oil channel, the frequency spectrum of high frequency pressure fluctuation data was analyzed and the transient states of pump and valve were simulated. It was demonstrated that the main cause of low-frequency fluctuation was the vibration instability of the valve spool during pressure regulation process. The range of low-frequency fluctuation was generally 20 Hz~30 Hz, and the fluctuation amplitude accounted for 50%~80% of the overall pressure fluctuation amplitude. Low-frequency oil pressure fluctuations can be attenuated or even eliminated by setting damping holes in the signal oil channel, which can reduce the influence of pressure fluctuation on engine operation reliability effectively. |
