Abstract:The temperature field of a piston was calculated by an empirical heat transfer coefficient of high calculation efficiency, and piston heat exchange boundary conditions were automatically calibrated according to measured piston temperatures. The automatic calibration process used a method coupling the finite element software and optimization software, including the establishment of finite element model of piston temperature field analysis, calculation error optimization model and data exchange approach, and the calibration results with different optimization algorithms were analyzed. The results show that the method used for the automatic calibration can significantly improve the calculation accuracy, indicating that it can be applied to similar calculations of other components with heat exchange to improve calculation accuracy and efficiency. The method has a highly theoretical and engineering value.
