Abstract:In order to solve the engine turbocharger surge appeared at an attitude of 2500m and overspeed appeared at attitude of 4500m, a solution of double turbocharger was put forward. To this end, a GT-Power software was used to predict the external characteristics of the new engine and test results were compared with the original engine performance. Results show that the new scheme can effectively solve the problems of the original engine. At an attitude of4500m,the maximum torque reaches1844N•m(1300r/min), which is 6.8% lower the original engine test value of 1980N•m,and the maximum power reaches 241.5kW(2100r/min), which is 24.7% lower than the original engine test value of 330kW in the plain. |
