Abstract:
To investigate the influence of injector filter on its flow characteristics and injection performance, the filter’s inlet aperture, outlet section length, outlet chamber diameter, and outlet chamber inclination angle were selected as design factors, with outlet flow rate and turbulence energy serving as response indicators. FLUENT software was used to analyze flow characteristics of filters, and structural parameters optimization of the filter was carried out based on response surface methodology. The results indicate that the linear terms with accompanying probability
P<0.05 in the outlet flow model include filter inlet aperture, outlet chamber diameter, and outlet chamber inclination angle. The interaction terms with
P<0.05 include the interaction between outlet section length and outlet chamber inclination angle, as well as the interaction between outlet chamber diameter and outlet chamber inclination angle. These factors have a relatively significant impact on the outlet flow rate. The linear terms with accompanying probability
P<0.05 in the outlet turbulence energy model include outlet chamber diameter and outlet chamber inclination angle. The interaction term with
P<0.05 is the interaction between inlet aperture and outlet chamber inclination angle. These factors have a relatively significant impact on the outlet turbulence energy. A comparative analysis of the filter outlet flow rate and turbulent kinetic energy before and after optimization showed that the outlet flow rate of the filter after optimization increased by 24.29%, and the outlet turbulence energy after optimization decreased by 92.71%.
