Abstract:At present, the development of general engine performance software at home is relatively slow, and there is still a big gap with foreign countries. In order to solve this problem, a new development idea of engine performance simulation software was proposed, and the soft-ware was developed based on it. Using C++ language, a general program framework was established to realize various simulation calcula-tion functions, including one-dimensional detailed calculation, volumetric calculation, real-time calculation under steady state and transient calculation. The main components such as cylinder, intake and exhaust port, junction, turbocharger, etc., contained a variety of calculation models, which can be selected according to modeling requirements. For a medium-speed diesel engine, the operating process of perfor-mance calculation was introduced in detail, and the calculated results were compared with the test data. The results showed that the software has a high calculation precision, and the real-time calculation can fully meet the requirements of real-time analysis, and real-time factor can reach 3.92.
