Abstract:The influence of the aluminum titanate(AT) and silicon carbide(SiC) substrate materials on regeneration performance of DPF and CDPF was investigated on a regeneration test bench with additional heating sources. Results indicate that the maximum temperature and maximum temperature gradient for different substrate materials of DPF and CDPF increase slowly first and then increase rapidly with the rise of regeneration temperature. The rapid increase of regeneration temperature can't directly lead to an improvement on regeneration efficiency. The maximum temperature and maximum temperature gradient of AT are much higher than that of SiC, when the rapid regeneration of soot. The pressure drop increases with the rise of regeneration temperature and soot loading, which is related to the porosity, pore diameter, and structure of the substrate. |
